Helen Kapalos (born March 17, 1971) is an Australian television presenter.
Beginning her career in her hometown of Newcastle, New South Wales, Kapalos was a reporter for ABC Radio in 1994, before moving to SBS and back to Newcastle, where she worked both as an award winning Reporter and Presenter for NBN Television News.
In 2002, she joined the Nine Network as a reporter. Her roles included reporting for A Current Affair, and reading the news.
In 2005 she read the late night news bulletin Nightline however she was sacked from this whilst on holidays. 35 year old Kapalos returned to A Current Affair before resigning at the end of the year to join Ten.
In 2006, she took over from Jennifer Hansen as newsreader in Network Ten's Melbourne Ten News bulletin. Kapalos is also a regular fill in presenter for Sandra Sully on Ten's Late News.
