Helen Codere

Helen Codere is an American cultural anthropologist known for her work with the Kwakwaka'wakw people of coastal British Columbia, Canada, known formerly as the "Kwakiutl." In this she was a direct successor to her mentor, Franz Boas.

She taught anthropology at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
