Hejazi

Hejazi (or Hijazi) is a form of Arabic script used in the early Origin and development of the Qur'an.^{[citation needed]} The script is notably angular in comparison with other Arabic scripts and tends to slope to the right. As the name suggests, it is associated with the Hejaz region of Arabia.
