[edit] Dundee United

You're clearly a fellow Arab judging by the amount of work you've been putting in on United-related articles recently. Well done on all that, but just a couple of points regarding all the player articles you've been creating recently: I think you might be wasting your time adding all those pictures from the official site, as they're a bit jumpy about copyright around here and I think you might be struggling to get them accepted as "fair use". One other thing, no need to manually insert the date the infobox stats have been updated, just type five tildes (~~~~~) to automatically add the date and time of your edit.

Anyway, keep up the great work and lets keep improving the DUFC presence on Wikipedia (hopefully more successfully than DUFC's attempts to improve on the park!) -- Jellyman 06:24, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Nice work on the references! Thanks :)

[edit] Warren Cummings

I'm trying to work out what happened with Warren Cummings' loan spell at Dundee United. I've just found this source [[1]] that says it was a single year long loan (I assume they meant season-long), which backs up your recently applied correction. However he doesn't appear to have played any games for Dundee United after December 2002. Was he injured, dropped, or was the loan terminated? Hope you can help fill the gaps. Thanks. --Jameboy 16:11, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry wasn't paying attention properly. He spent most of the remainder of the season on loan at Bournemouth. But why though, when he was supposed to be at Dundee United for the whole season??? --Jameboy 16:14, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
From memory, he wasn't playing well, so United cut short his loan. [2] seems to back this up. Fedgin | Talk 20:20, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Ocs_logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Ocs_logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 14:02, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Danny Lennon (Gaelic footballer)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Danny Lennon (Gaelic footballer), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Danny Lennon. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 15:35, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
