[edit] INCORRECT PATERNAL DATA

It's impossible that her father is Thomas Laughlin (Bobby Ocean). He was born in 1971, and Heidi was born in 1973. That would mean that her father was 2 years old when she was conceived. THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE.

I verified his birthdate on IMDB.com, so the only satisfiable conclusion is that her father is, indeed, NOT Thomas Laughlin (Bobby Ocean).
