[edit] Refs
I managed to find four articles on Factiva which relate to this case so I've referenced the article as far as possible and have now removed the verify tag. I will make the articles available to anyone who wants them. There are still a couple of claims in there which I have not found supported by the articles and for potential legal implications they should be referenced or removed. This has been removed because it is pure POV editorialising:
"Choat’s case is noteworthy in that it was one of the earlier cases in which a female sexual offender against an underage person in their care resulted in a prison sentence being imposed by an Australian court. Her offences were also against one of the youngest victims of an Australian female sexual predator in a school context. Her persistence in the offences even after she was aware that she was being investigated is also quite remarkable. Cases such as Choat's have become more common in the first decade of the new century, but at the time the case was quite exceptional and was featured on the front page of the Queensland state newspaper." - I've just refined your referencing style, so as to reduce the number of occasions the references appear in the Notes list. --JB Adder | Talk 14:29, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Apparent conflict removed
The text read: The sexual encounters evidently had a significant impact on the boy, not least because of his comparatively young age. He told police, [...] The boy's mother told the court he did not appear to have been affected by the relationship but they were concerned about how he would cope in the future.[1]
Since the claim of "a significant impact" was unreferenced and directly conflicted with the statement by the boy's mother, who probably knows him somewhat better than most wiki editors, I removed the first sentence of that paragraph.--DewiMorgan (talk) 00:33, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
