I'm translating the Dutch page on "heerlijkheid" into English. This is one of the express goals of Wikipedia - to coordinate the various versions in different languages. Eventually (because translation is time-consuming) I will put in the reference found in the Dutch article. The reference is to a rather good website.

However, the Dutch article does not have footnotes for every line and this article will not either. I have no idea where the Dutch article got its information, although it might have been the website footnoted once there. If the policy is that only fully footnoted articles are to be translated into English, please let me know now.

Nor does the Dutch article have a "provide references or be deleted" warning. It only took four minutes for this to appear on this English article, which is demotivating to say the least. I certainly hope my work is not going to be deleted. I ask that you give me some time to properly translate the Dutch article before you jump all over this article. Greetings, Schildewaert. One thing that will help is the {{underconstruction}} tag, which I've taken the liberty to place on the page. This lets people know that the article is not in its finished form. Hope that helps. Justin Eiler (talk) 13:35, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
