Hedingham Secondary School and Sixth Form is a state school situated in Christmas Fields in Sible Hedingham, Essex and caters for pupils from the ages of 11-18.
[edit] Overview
The school is under the leadership of John Panayi and is undergoing changes. Funds have been invested into a new library and computer teaching centre, reflecting the school's new status as a maths and computing college.
The school is currently working on a new area of the school which will be known as the "support area" which will be where learning support, head of years, and key stage leaders will all be based. This will mean that all areas of child support will be based in one area.
Hedingham School offers a range of subjects throughout the year groups. The school offers some subjects which are not commonly available such as rural science.
The school's science block has undergone recent refurbishment as has the gymnasium.
The school received a "good" rating by Ofsted inspectors when they visited in September 2007[1]
