From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hedehusene is a town in Denmark located between Copenhagen and Roskilde. The town started its slow development in 1847, when the railway between Copenhagen and Roskilde was finished. The Hedehusene cemetery holds one of the oldest runestones found in Denmark: the Kalerup Stone, said to originate from the early Viking Age (circa 800 to 825).
Pronunciation Note - if a non-Danish speaker mispronounces this town name, the locals will not understand what you are trying to say. Pronounced "Hel-uh-hoos-na"
