Heddington

Heddington is a village near to Calne in Wiltshire, forming part of The Oldbury Benefice, which comprises the 5 parishes of Cherhill, Compton Bassett, Heddington, Calstone Wellington and Yatesbury.
Every year, on the first weekend of July - weather permitting - it is host to the Heddington and Stockley Steam Rally, a fun packed family day, which attracts steam engine owners from across the globe. Attractions include working steam engines of various sizes, classic cars and motorbikes, tractor pulling, falconry, motorcycle stunt show, quad bikes, fun fair, a band, a beer tent and stalls.
Heddington has one pub, The Ivy, a church and a Buddhist Temple and community (situated in Splatts House).
