Hector Salazar (Law & Order)

Hector Salazar, played by Kirk Acevedo, was a fictional character on the short-lived TV drama Law & Order: Trial by Jury.
Salazar was an investigator with the Manhattan District Attorney's office. He was originally a police detective with the NYPD, but was shot in the line of duty and severely wounded. He recovered, but was unable to get his old job back, and gratefully accepted his current position as DA Investigator in compensation. He was partnered with Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) until the veteran detective's death in 2005.
