Hector MacMillan was elected Mayor of Trent Hills in 2003. As of November 13, 2006, MacMillan was elected to a second term as the mayor of Trent Hills. "Hec" was born and raised in Campbellford, Ontario, and resides there with his wife and family which includes their four children and one grandson.

Mayor MacMillan is son of one time Mayor of the Town of Campbellford. Mayor MacMillan has an extensive background in business – owning and operating various enterprises since 1973 including hardware, retail and wholesale groceries, several retail gasoline and diesel sites. Mr. MacMillan holds several trade certificates.
