Florian Hecker was born in Augsburg, Germany in 1975. His music is usually released via the [Mego] label, and has been working with computer music with artists such as Russell Haswell, Peter Rehberg, Yasunao Tone, among others. For his recording SUN PANDÄMONIUM, he received the Award of Distinction at the Prix Ars Electronica in 2003 [1]. He also creates sound installations, most notably for Angela Bulloch.
