[edit] Expanding article

I put some time into developing and expanding the article. Working out the kink's that consisted of advertising and inappropriate tone. Future task's: Expanding the sections (There is a lot of stuff written about this company if you take a quick peak at a search engine), making more sections(?), and making a table of their regular beer's and their alcohol volume (Plus other interesting things). ScarianTalk 21:18, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Extra things to be done in the future: Splitting up the awards section into mini-sections detailing the awards received by each beer/ale. Hooah. ScarianTalk 13:38, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Okay, I have begun splitting up the awards section. Plenty of sources around about the company, pretty easy to expand. Just difficult when you can't concentrate. History section needs to be built up and put, possibly, chronologically. We need to find more information on the establishment's establishment. Possibly a new section on the location and the technology that the brewery uses to make the article more informative for the reader. ScarianTalk 20:14, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Just remembered, lead section needs expanding too. Will look up the guidelines for that. ScarianTalk 20:43, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Gotta add more on the beers. Pictures would also be nice. ScarianTalk 21:57, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

In my honest opinion, I've managed to bring the article a LONG way since it was a measley stub full of advertising... More to be done(In order of importance):

  • Details on individual beers (Including pictures!)
  • More detailing on marketing
  • Expansion of expansion (my next task)
  • Expansion of awards (the hardest task as their site lists awards that aren't readily available on the 'net to cite)
  • A couple more exhibitions and festivals (I'm sure there are more out there)
  • Write about the grant given by WIE (I have a source for that and will do it soon)
  • Write about owner's conviction of drinking driving for a second time (Also have a source on that, but I don't know what section it should go under) ScarianTalk 06:35, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Conviction

Is the drink driving conviction really relevant on the brewery page? It is very relevant to Mr Ribben, but this is not his biography page. Including personal information on a non-personal topic could been seen as intrusion or a personal vendetta. If there was a wikipedia page on Mr Ribben, then that is where I would expect to see such information. (193.195.185.190 15:59, 4 September 2007 (UTC))

Yeah, I thought about that before adding it in. When I was writing the paragraph I tried to make it as closely related to the brewery as I could. Ribben's isn't notable enough to have his own article, so I thought this would be the most logical place to have it. I will ask a couple of my experienced Wikipedia pals if it should be in there or not. And by the by, lots of other people on Wikipedia have things that they might not want to see there but, as you know, Wikipedia isn't censored. I will get back to you about it, friend. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Berserker.jpg

Image:Berserker.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
