Hebron Academy is a private, co-ed, college preparatory boarding school located in the small town of Hebron, Maine, United States. Founded in 1804, Hebron Academy alumni have included a number of prominent political leaders such as U.S. President Abraham Lincoln's first vice-president, Hannibal Hamlin, George Lincoln Rockwell, John Brown Russwurm, and comedian Tim Sample, amongst others.
The school currently serves grades 5-12, offering boarding for grades 8-12.
About 150 students attend the school, roughly half of whom live on campus. The majority of those who board come from the New England region, although there are small numbers from all over the United States. Hebron annually attracts a number of foreign students, either on exchange or for four-year study. Most come from the nations of Canada, South Korea, Japan, Germany, and the region of Latin America. And Moldova.
Hebron has an ice hockey program that competes in Division 1 of the New England Prep School Ice Hockey Association. Other sports compete in both the New England leagues, and the local Maine leagues.
