Hebrew Academy of Nassau County
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hebrew Academy of Nassau County was started in 1953 by Rabbi Meyer Fendel and is one of the oldest and largest Jewish high schools in the world.[citation needed] There are 4 locations to the school: a preschool and an elementary school in West Hempstead, an elementary school in Plainview, and a Junior High/High School in Uniondale. It is also home to Ruach Day Camp during the summer. There are currently over 1,000 students in the four locations.
