[edit] Trivia

Looks like spam to me. "Fancy Dress Capital of the UK"? Are you having a laugh? Impossible to verify. Suggest removal of section. Robert Crowdy 16:42, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 'Ghettoisation'

Am I the only one who objects to the use of student "ghettoisation"? As far as I can tell, that just means students becoming dominant in a particular area. As someone who lives in this particular area, I can tell you that another significant section of the population is of Asian ethnicity. Somehow I don't think that "Asian ghettoisation" would be acceptable, and I don't think a student version should be, because of the obvious perjorative connotations. There are many other ways to convey the intended meaning without such overt bias. As such, I changed "student ghettoisation" to "student population". Spuderoony 15:31, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Picture of Headingley Lane

The picture in this article is actually of the Hyde Park suberb of Leeds, dispite the road being called Headingley Lane. Infact, once this road reaches Headingley, it's name changes to 'Otley Road'. Perhaps this should be changed? kiddy5825 12:55, 7 May 2006

I agree. A photo of central Headingley would be more appropriate, possibly the area outside St. Michael's Church.

Yes i think that photo should be removed as it is misleading
