- 14 September 2007: Limp Bizkit vocalist Fred Durst has been given a 120-day suspended sentence by a Los Angeles court for seven assault-related misdemeanours. Durst was also fined $1,500 and ordered to perform 20 hours of community service. (NME)
- 10 September 2007: In Flames have begun pre-production on their next album at IF Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. The album is due out next year. (Kerrang)
