Date Taken: October 18, 2004

Original description: "Heald Island, 78 degrees South, 163 degrees East, is 5.6 km long and surrounded by the Koettlitz Glacier in Victoria Land, Antarctica. Discovered and named by the British National Antarctic Expedition (1901-04) for Seaman William L. Heald, a member of the expedition."
