Heavy rotation

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heavy rotation or power rotation is a term that applies to a list of songs that get the most airplay on a radio station. Songs in heavy rotation will be played many times in a 24-hour period. A reason for playing the same song more than once a day is many listeners tune in expecting to hear their favorite song, and most listeners don't listen to the radio for extended periods of time.

Heavy Rotation Clothing is a Milwaukee WI based graphic t-shirt line.

What originally started as selling vintage iron-ons to New York’s lower east side has turned into a leading t-shirt brand - Heavy Rotation. Formed in 2003 by Brian Holoubek, Heavy Rotation is a fresh brand rooted in a long history of t-shirt art. Taking the lead from his father’s 40 plus years in the t-shirt industry, Brian Holoubek started digging though his father’s massive iron-on archives. This inspired him and lead to the creation of the first few Heavy Rotation catalogs.

Current Heavy Rotation t-shirts are sold in urban stores around the world. With a strong focus on art and USA made goods Heavy Rotation has become a staple in local indie stores. It is often paired with high end denim and button ups.
