Heavy Lift Helicopters, Inc is a helicopter operating company based in Apple Valley, California, United States. Heavy Lift operates a fleet of CH-54 Tarhe helicopters and CH-53 Sea Stallion in aerial Lift Services and aerial firefighting. In addition Heavy Lift operates a FAA Repair Station out of Apple Valley Airport. [1] On October 12, 2004 Heavy Lift Helicopters became the first civilian operator of the "Fire Stallion", a former US Marine Corp CH-53 Sea Stallion converted for fire fighting duties [2]
