"Heaven Sent" is a song by R&B singer Keyshia Cole, released as the fourth and final single from her second album Just like You. The song tells of someone who has deep emotions for another person, wants them to feel the same way, and gives an insight on how love is unpredictable and can choose anyone for a person to love.
[edit] Music video
The music video premiered on March 27, 2008 on Yahoo! Music and BET's Access Granted.[1] The video peaked at #1 on May 8, 2008 on BET's 106 & Park.[2].
The video begins with Keyshia walking alone on a beach in a yellow dress, switching into scenes of the environment. Keyshia sings the first verse and walks around on the beach. Later, she walks around on the beach and is shown in a purple bikini with pink fabric blowing in the wind in front of a waterfall with shots of the island fading in and out. Scenes then switch back to Keyshia in her yellow dress, this time during the sun's setting. She waves her hands around while singing to express her desperation to be with her Heaven Sent partner. Keyshia is then seen one last time in a colorful dress and is then shown running on the beach as the video fades.
