Heaven, Heartache, and the Power of Love is the tenth studio album by country singer Trisha Yearwood. It is also the first album released on her current label, Big Machine Records.^[1]

Recording for Yearwood's album began in 2006 and ended in 2007. The first single was released from the album in September 2007, "Heaven, Heartache, and the Power of Love", a #18 hit on the Billboard country music charts; "This Is Me You're Talking To" has been released as the second single. The album debuted at number 30 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 33,000 copies in its first week.^[2] The album also debuted at #10 on the U.S. Top Country Albums chart that same week.

"Not a Bad Thing" was previously recorded by Terri Clark on her 2002 album Pain to Kill.
