Heather West
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Heather Marie West[1] was a chef working at the Terra Rossa Restaurant at the Red Rock Resort and Spa in Las Vegas. Working at this restaurant was her prize after winning the second season of Hell's Kitchen. She was the Senior Chef of the restaurant.
As of September 18, 2007, West's name is no longer listed on the Terra Rossa website. A spokesperson for the resort said that the prize was only for a one-year contract.[2]
As of April 2008, Heather West has been a chef at the Broadway Grill in Seattle, Washington.

During production, West became friends with fellow contestant Rachel Brown, who came in seventh place — both are openly lesbian.[1] Brown died in May 2007. [3]
Heather's final match was against Virginia Dalbeck.
[edit] Other appearances
West appeared in the third season of Hell's Kitchen. In the eighth episode, when Jen and Julia, winners of the first individual challenge in the show, went to Las Vegas to see their future prize, the restaurant in the Green Valley Ranch Resort, they met West at Terra Rossa. West gave them recipes she had created for her restaurant, and tips for the competition. She also appeared in the tenth episode, along with first season winner Michael Wray and other Las Vegas chefs to judge Season 3's finalists in the final challenge.
