Heather Forsyth

Heather Forsyth is a provincial level politician from Alberta, Canada. She is a current member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta and has held a seat since 1993.

Forsyth was elected for the first time in the 1993 Alberta general election. She is currently serving her fourth term as the member for Calgary Fish Creek for the Progressive Conservative government.
Forsyth was appointed as the Solicitor-General on March 16, 2001. She served her position as Solicitor General until November 25, 2004 when she became the Minister of Children's Services, holding this position until December 15, 2006. During her four terms in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, she has served on numerous standing, and special policy committees.
