Heather Brewer

Heather Brewer (born September 21, 1973) is the author of The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, a series about a teenage half-human, half-vampire. The series began with Eighth Grade Bites which was published August 16th, 2007 by Dutton Juvenile. The sequels include Ninth Grade Slays, which was published April 17, 2008 by Dutton Juvenile, and Tenth Grade Bleeds, which is slated for a July 2009 publication by Dutton Juvenile. Eighth Grade Bites was chosen by the American Library Association in January of 2008 as a 2008 Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Readers.

Brewer was born in Lapeer, Michigan. She currently lives with her husband and two children in Saint Louis, Missouri.
