Heartbreaker

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the strictest definition, a heartbreaker is one who causes a broken heart, or feeling of severe loss in another person. As in most of the cases below, it is nearly always used in the context of a jilter, a person ending an intimate relationship through deceit, and can carry a connotation of apathy, similar to the terms man-eater or gigolo.
