Heart of the Beholder is an award winning movie based on the true story of a family who opened the first videocassette rental stores in St. Louis in 1980. It won the Director's Choice award at the Bluegrass Independent Film Festival.
The film has been banned in several theatres because it is made by atheists.[citation needed] As a result the film can now be viewed online.
