Heart Of Scotland services, commonly referred to as Harthill services, is a motorway service station on the M8 motorway between junctions 4 & 5, at Harthill, in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is owned by the Scottish Executive and is leased to BP. It used to be leased to RoadChef.
When opened in 1978 it was Scotland's first service station[1] and features the United Kingdom's only long distance bus stop in a service station.[citation needed]
