Healing School and Specialist Science College is a Foundation, comprehensive, co-education school, located in the village of Healing, England. It has a roll of aprox. 1600, serving the age group of 11-16 years, with students from both locally and in nearby villages. The school day lasts from 8:30am to 3:15pm. The school is non-denominational and has no religious affiliation. with well trained teachers. Healing is renowned for its sports teams such as its netball team which won the outdoor netball tournament, in the final against Hereford Healing won 14/7, a well earned achievement. Mrs Ann Addison, the headteacher of Healing has decided to enforce the rule that blasers are to be compulsory and non-fitted. This caused a lot of fuss as it was the year 11 leaving the school that week that put forward the proposition that they get blazers.
