It is located at grid reference TQ138905. This station is located to the north of Headstone.

The typical off-peak service is three trains per hour to London Euston, and three trains per hour to Watford Junction, calling at all stations.
The station was previously served by the Bakerloo Line of the London Underground and it is planned that by 2025 when the Bakerloo line receives new rolling stock. London Overground services will be withdraw and the Bakerloo line will be re -extended to Watford Junction.
