[edit] History
[edit] Formation
Headset was first known as Don Knotts Overdrive in its early stages and went through many different band members. Don Knotts Overdrive had to change its name due to legal matters. The band started off with having Howard Hallis on lead vocals but was replaced in 1995 by Ryan Kirk after he was kicked out of the band. In late 1998, Don Knotts Overdrive changed their name to Headset. A semi-new lineup was in state and an album known as Brownout would be Headset's one and only album before breaking up in early 2001.
