The headless nun is an alleged ghost that purportedly haunts French Fort Cove in Nordin, now the City of Miramichi, New Brunswick. The legend of the headless nun has been featured on the Canadian show Creepy Canada,[1] and is the basis for a local tour.[2][3]
One version of story is that the nun was decapitated when she refused to betray the location of gold buried by Acadian settlers.[1] Another version has the nun killed by a madman.[4]
