Headland Estate

The Echo's Hill or Headland Estate is a residential area of Hartlepool, County Durham, which is situated in the North East of England.
It made the headlines for the worst reasons imaginable in July 1994, when local toddler Rosie Palmer was murdered by neighbour Shaun Armstrong. He admitted murder at Leeds Crown Court in July 1995 and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
