Headlam Group

Headlam Group plc (LSE: HEAD) is a British based company which distributes floor coverings in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
Headlam was established by a series of acquisitions which began with the purchase of Headlam Newcastle and Hadfields Stockport from Hickson plc in January 1992. Its international expansion began with the purchase of Lethem-Vergeer in the Netherlands in 1996. It supplies coverings such as parquet, carpets, and linoleum to independent retailers and professional customers in markets which also include Switzerland and France.
Turnover for the year to 31 December 2004 was £450.5 million. Profits were £38.3 million before tax and £26.3 million after tax.
