"He Said She Said" is the second official single and third radio single from Ashley Tisdale's debut album, Headstrong. The single was released in the UK and the U.S. on September 17, 2007 [1] and in Germany on October 26, 2007. This song is also featured in the 2008 monster film Cloverfield, and in the 12th edition of the Now! Canadian series.

Song information

The song was co-written by top songwriter/producer J. R. Rotem, and Ryan "Alias" Tedder. The song leaked in full on December 10. The song was recorded in three versions the original leak, this is the one she sings at the High School Musical Concerts, she completely re-recorded her vocals in this one as well to sound less suggestive and the "Explicit" Album version was containing mature lyrics for which she caused conflict in the release of the single. In Between The Versions are some significant differences.

The song also is on Bring It On: In It to Win It movie soundtrack, who features Ashley performing the song in the credit end. The song promote Degree Girl deodorant campaign that features Ashley, playing during the official commercial for the campaing, where Ashley appears performing the song.


Music videos

On June 26, 2007, Ashley made an all new music video for the song, directed by Scott Speer. The new video is the first part of the "There's Something About Ashley" DVD. The plot is that Ashley and her friends go to a club and a guy (Josh Henderson) notices Ashley at the club. She starts to dance with her friends and looks after the guy. Ashley's sister Jennifer appears on the video as one of her friends.Robin Antin released the choreography of the video. A DVD named There's Something About Ashley containing that video plus others two music videos by Ashley was released in November 13, 2007.

On the week ending January 27, 2007, the single debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #77.[4] The single went for official radio adds November 6, 2007 and on the week ending January 5, 2008, the single re-entered the Hot 100 at 97 and had a 39-point jump to #58 the following week, when received a new peak position in the chart.
