"He's So Shy" is a 1980 Pop and R&B hit by the Pointer Sisters. The song returned the group to Billboard's top ten singles chart where it peaked at number three on the chart eventually reaching gold status. Thanks to producer Richard Perry, its mixture of classic girl-group, pop and soul was a good combination for the group as it paved the way for the future success the group would have in years to come. It won the group a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group as well as becomg a #1 hit in New Zealand.
