HC Dynamo Minsk is a Belarusian ice hockey team that will play in the Continental Hockey League. The club was formed on the basis of the existing Dinamo Minsk team playing in the Belarusian Extraliga. The General Manager for the new club is Vladimir Tsyplakov.

On March 26, 2008 the League confirmed the Belarussian club's inclusion in the Bobrov Division. To meet the new league's minimal requirements of 5,500 seats, their home rink could be the new 7,000 seat in Babruysk or the team's current rink the 3,400 seat Minsk Ice Palace if the club can get an exemption until a larger arena is built.

The Chairman of the Belarus Hockey Federation, Vladimir Naumov has said that the budget for the new club will be 15 to 17 Million dollars. Junior Minsk that is currently playing in the Belarus Championship is also taking steps to join Dynamo in the KHL.[1]
