I tried to put the word "stub" on this article but it kept giving me errors so I just left it off. It is very clearly a stub though. 132.159.147.99 14:30, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Not a stub any more! AndrewRT(Talk) 18:14, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sect

I cant find any source on whether he is Sunni or Shia. It would seem likely that he is Shia, being from Diwaniyyah but I cant find any confirmation. AndrewRT(Talk) 18:14, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I think its not neccesary

See I belong to the same tribe as Hazim Al-Shaalan wich is Khuzaa' & he is one of the far cousins to my dad...the tribe's name in Diwaniyyah is Khuzaa' which is an old Arabic tribe already existed in pre-islamic arabic era & the majority of the land in this city is owned by this family...anyway the mathhab, whether shia or sunni, is not neccesary, its enough mentioning that he is muslim arab because I don't think in articles about any American or English politician we write eg. George Bush is "catholic" or "protestant" christian...this is just unneccesary info.... Best regards193.6.158.33 10:53, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
