How can we mention the school sucks in a non biased way? :P --Myke251 15:52, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

EDITED: Everything written was not true whatsoever. The school is brilliant and I insist that Wikipedia staff do not change this article back.

Everything on the article has been sourced. You cannot change the article on the grounds that you don't like it. This is a serious encyclopedia, not a properganda machine for a second rate high school.

However the sources are not true, they are old and go back to 2-3 years earlier.... The school is fine and I would like to know why you do not believe this? It has been given DFES designated status, become a Microsoft Academy and is also at the heart of the community.

The article says that the school has been given DFES status and is a Microsoft Academy. Wikipedia is meant to be fair and balanced. We (there are quite a few people watching this article) would like to know why you are so interested in defending the school? I find it very hard to believe that a current or former student would defend the place, as far as I can see the school is universally hated amongst it's students and alumni, and believe me, I'm in a very good position to see. Enrol there and spend five years getting beaten up for wanting to learn, then you'll understand.

I'm a current student and love the place. Could you describe when you were at school? I'm the best in my year. Never get beaten up and have a wide variety of friends. Maybe it is your profile and personality which are to blame? If you look at the OFSTED report the school is classed as being Class 3. Good. No under achievement there and we are now something like 3 years on? Things have changed and if you were involved in the school, had any knowledge of how hard the teachers, staff, pupils and governors work you'd eat your words. After talking with mjy teachers and the school council we are going to revise this article to reflect on the school correctly, add some of the history of the school. Additional links as well as news to make this article worth looking at for anybody who wishes to view information regarding the school.

School council. I like you guys. I'll talk with my people and not have them change the article back. Sorry about all this *smiles*.

[edit] A Message To The School Council

  • Please can you find out what year the school was founded?
  • How many staff are there?
  • Please do write a history the school.
  • Please correct the headteachers section if it is wrong, can you add the missing first names?
  • This article must be kept neutral: WP:NPOV.

[edit] A Message From The School Council

Would it be OK to add information and pdf's of the school prospectus as well as images that portray the school site. We are working on this however it is of course a long process as we want to ensure that the article is correct and provides as much interesting information about the school as possible. All the things you have mentioned will hopefully be added.

Yeah, PDFs can be linked in the external links section. Feel free to add images. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Myke251 (talkcontribs) 20:57, 7 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] A Message From The School Council

Sorry about this guys however as it is Christmas and this time of year is rather busy in a school community I'd like to apoligise that nothings been done. With the addition of a new headteacher starting in January 2007 teachers time getting this article organised is very hard.

We're doing all we can and hope that we'll have something on here during the Spring Term of the new year.

Cheers,

Mark Johnson

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hghs logo.gif

Image:Hghs logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:46, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
