Hazens Notch is a mountain pass in the northern Green Mountains of Vermont. The height of land of the pass is located in Hazens Notch State Park, in Orleans County, about 0.5 mi east of the boundary between Orleans and Franklin County.
On the east side, Hazens Notch drains into the East Branch of the Missisquoi River, which drains into Lake Champlain, thence into Canada's Richelieu River, the Saint Lawrence River, and into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. To the west, the gap is drained by Wade Brook, which drains into the Trout River, and the Missisquoi River.
The Long Trail, a 272-mile (438-km) hiking trail running the length of Vermont, crosses Hazens Notch between Haystack Mountain, 1.5 mi (2.5 km) to the south, and Sugarloaf Mountain immediately to the north.
