[edit] Speedy deletion of Semibeings

A tag has been placed on Semibeings, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 18:23, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Semibeings

Thank you for the note on my talk page. I found that the article did not merit deletion under any of the speedy deletion criteria. Please feel free to ask if you would like help on improving it. Please note that even though I declined a speedy deletion the article could be nominated for WP:AFD. Very Best. Pedro :  Chat  13:05, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Sickness and Health

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Sickness and Health, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Sickness and Health seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Sickness and Health, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Re: Junkeygood

In answer to your question, the version of the article I deleted back in June did not claim any particular significance for the band and was not written in a very encyclopedic tone - e.g. calling them an "extraordinary band". FYI - you'd be more likely to get my assistance if you didn't vandalize my userpage.--Kubigula (talk) 20:48, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

I deleted the June version of the article. The one today, which was better than the June version, was deleted by User:Haemo. If you want to demonstrate that the band is notable, the best way to do it, under the general notability guideline is to include third party sources about the band. For example, any press coverage or reviews would go a long way to showing notability. If you want to work on the article, you can contact User:Haemo and ask him to restore the article to your userspace - you can work on it there in relative peace.--Kubigula (talk) 03:26, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
