Talk:Haymo of Halberstadt

[edit] Clarification needed
This article states in its first lines that Haymo "served as bishop of Halberstadt," but in the writing section claims that "a number of works have been wrongly ascribed to Haymo of Halberstadt." Surely the Haymo described in the Biography section is Haymo of Halberstadt, no? The problem I see is that there seem to be two Haymos, one of Halberstadt and one of Auxerre, almost exact contemporaries who both wrote theological texts. Which Haymo is this article intended to be about? Kafka Liz 14:38, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- Seems fine to me -- "he was a prolific writer, but keep in mind that not *everything* ascribed to him was really written by him". At least, that's how I read that sentence. A bit of copy-editing could certainly help things a bit. not-just-yeti 21:06, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

- On rereading it, I see your point. I'll try to clean it up a bit so it's clearer. Kafka Liz 11:30, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi. I tried to clear up the problem with Haymo of Auxerre, but my footnote vanished. Does anyone knows the system better? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.150.91.61 (talk) 15:49, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
