[edit] Development Teams

Please refrain from adding information about such development teams, as they are lacking in notability. Once some sort of references are added to show that these teams deserve merit, they can stay. However, red-linking in a development team that no one can really prove exists makes no sense. Thank you. Kevinazite 13:54, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

To draw a general consensus, please weigh in on whether or not Midnight Gaming Oil is worthy of it's own article and mention in the article.

[edit] Orchestra pit

Part of the stage can lower and that serves as the Orchestra pit. Yoshi9143 00:50, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandals at work - a frisbee team?

Someone familar with this school should check it for context. Morenooso 20:31, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

The frisbee team is a club rather than a team, but it is distinguished from other Fairfax County Schools, since it is allowed to convene on school grounds without being an official club. Kevinazite 17:55, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Planetarium and Clubs sections

Is this really necessary? Should we rewrite this or just delete this outright? - WikiXan 17:57, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

This information should not be removed. Notation of the activities and the history of the school should be preserved with in a wiki entry for the purposes of comparison and education. Notability is not the only criteria for inclusion. If information is beginning to clutter up the page they should not be removed but rather used as the basis for generating new pages that are linked off of the original page. --Frehmann 20:37, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject class rating

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as stub, and the rating on other projects was brought up to Stub class. BetacommandBot 10:17, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I'm friends with half the Freshman team and i see the practice and well

the suck as much as JV and Varsity.

[edit] Activities List

The list of extracurricular activities is extremely long and doesn't seem to contribute much to the article. Is it really needed? --FlamingSilmaril Talk\Contribs 18:03, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

I went ahead and removed it since it is inconsistent with other articles on High Schools. As a student at the school, I can guarantee this information is useless to anybody beyond students, unless these individual organization chapters are important on a national scale (they're not). If someone needs a list of activities, it can easily be obtained from the school. --Kevinazite (talk) 16:29, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

whats going on? we've had like 8 fights in the past 5 school days! wtf.Shotgunmerc (talk) 18:54, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Athletics Section

Either the lacrosse team section needs to be removed or the wrestling and basketball sections need to be expanded - I can do either. Any suggestions as to which way to go on this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevinazite (talkcontribs) 13:50, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

If you can do it, and you think it should be done, then do it. You don't have to ask anybody's permission. FlamingSilmaril (talk) 22:30, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:HayfieldSS.jpg

Image:HayfieldSS.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
