Haydenville, Ohio

Haydenville is an unincorporated community in southern Green Township, Hocking County, Ohio, United States. Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 43127.[1] The town was founded in 1852 by Peter Hayden with intentions of running an iron smelting company there. The company built and owned all of the structures in the town. Known as Ohio's last company town, it is located along U.S. Route 33 between Logan and Nelsonville. The Hocking Valley Scenic Railroad runs through the middle of town.[citation needed]
