[edit] Re: your message
I don't really mind being in disagreement about a notability tag, that's part of the Wikipedia process. I do however mind that huge assumption of bad faith in calling my edits vandalism. I expect a little more courtesy after 5 plus years of contributing to this encyclopedia. I will remove that error of judgement from my talk page. Please be more careful in who you call a vandal next time.--Atlan (talk) 23:22, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- The problem is your sustained and inappropriate use of the tag after it had been disputed. You refused to take the appropriate action of nominating the article for deletion, which suggested that you accepted that you knew that such a nomination would fail, yet you continued to mess up the article with an irrelevant tag - and not just once. Your actions were disruptive and did look like possible vandalism. If you have not learned better in five years, that is a sorry state of affairs. I do not accept that I made an error of judgment, and you are not entitled to remove appropriate criticism from your talk page, and then come here and make false allegations against me on my page. - So the fact that your removal of the tag was disputed doesn't count? It was put back not only by me, but also User:Alex.muller. If the appropriate course of action is always Afd, then what's the use of the tag anyway? I only put it there to get someone to add sources that would prove her notability. I didn't nominate it for deletion because I was sure it could be turned into a good article. But you seem to have already made up your mind about it being vandalism (appropriate criticism my ass). I don't really care, just don't bring that crap up to my talk page anymore.--Atlan (talk) 17:36, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
