The Hawaiian Coot (Fulica alai) is a species of bird in the Rallidae family. It is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands of the United States. Its natural habitats are freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, coastal saline lagoons, and water storage areas. It is threatened by habitat loss.
