Thanks Grahamec for fixing up the references Majurawombat (talk) 09:46, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

I have removed the Coatrack tag. In part I have put some neutral information into the article but more importantly I do not believe the article ever met the criteria for Coatrack (where did that word come from?). If anything it neatly fits the "What is not a coatrack" section at the bottom of the Coatrack essay. The exclusion of the trainee life savers is clearly the most important thing that has happened at The Haven by a country mile. Without this incident there would be no conceivable reason for having an article on the resort. Moreover this is not just something that happened at the resort - it is an incident that was instigated by the resort management. More recently there are allegations that it is totally in line with management policy at the resort.

The sources quoted are by any reasonable measure reliable. Statements by resort management are given relatively more space than statements by other parties so there is no way the article could be improved by including more reliable sources or providing a more balanced account. I have avoided using the manager's name so this can not be considered a personal attack.

An option would be to turn the article into a section in the Alice Springs article and quote the allegations by the NT Anti Discrimination Commissioner that this incident is simply an example of widespread discrimination against native Australians in Alice Springs.
