[edit] HTF's Episode Description
A friendly game of catch goes horribly wrong for this father and son bear. Pop tries to impress Cub with his ball handling skills, but disaster ensues and a rescue chopper goes down. So sad that even the simple things go so wrong in Happy Tree Friends Land![1]
[edit] Plot
Pop and Cub are having a nice little ball game, but then, Pop has a slight mis-throw, and the ball bounces off of Cub's head and bounces away, across a Highway! With an expectant Cub wanting his ball back, Pop knows he hasn't really got much of a choice but to fight through the traffic and get the ball back.
As Pop travels through the Traffic, you can hear him scream in pain from the bludgeoning impact of the Trucks, and a Helicopter in the background. When Pop finally makes it to the ball on the other side, he is a total mess, he even has a steering wheel sticking out of him, but at least he gets the ball; he picks it up with a smile, but it is then turned upside-down, because he managed to walk off a cliff.
As Pop falls, he looks down to realise that he is heading right for the Helicopter's Rotor Blades, he hits them and is totally shredded, forming a neat set of piles on the ground, the ball and his hat, however, are untouched. While Pop could not get to the ball without certain death, his son Cub climbs down the cliff with climbing gear; picking up his ball with a happy smile.
But there is one last thing overlooked, Lumpy, was strapped to the plane by a Gurney, which happens to be disconnected and plummets down on top of Cub. With Lumpy on the ground and Pop and Cub dead, this could not get any worse, until the Helicopter comes crashing down on the luckless Lumpy, and yet, the ball is still untouched; but as a final decoration to this slaughter, Cub's Beanie lands perfectly on top of the ball, marking the end of this disaster.

[edit] Deaths
(The deaths here will require discussion, Pyro Python (talk))
- A Helicopter (unknown pilot) kills Pop when Pop falls off the cliff, retrieving Cub's ball, and is then sliced up by the Helicopter's Rotor Blades.
- Lumpy kills Cub when he lands on top of him, after falling from the Helicopter when the rope to his Gurney broke.
- (Pop is the possible reason for Lumpy's death because he went through the rotor blades of the helicopter, which could be the reason why it had crashed) The Helicopter lands on Lumpy.
- Due to the above death, Pop may have have been responsible for the death of the Helicopter Pilot. (debatable because the Pilot is not seen)
[edit] Goofs
- You may not consider this a goof, it may just be a 'short-cut' when the team was animating. When Pop falls off the cliff, the steering wheel embedded in his arm falls away, but for a frame, when you get a close-up of Pop falling, it is actually back in his arm, but it disappears again.
- When Pop was going to recover the ball, he got hurt by the cars when crossing. But when he returns to the cars, instead there is the cliff.
