Haverstraw Fire Department

The Haverstraw Fire Department is a fully volunteer fire department comprised of five semiautonomous companies who collectively respond to all alarms of fire, rescue and non-EMS related emergencies in the Village of Haverstraw in Rockland County, New York. They are designated "Department 4" on the county fire radio.

The Haverstraw Fire Department is governed by a Fire Council comprised of one Chief Officer and four Assistant Chief Officers (one from each Company), who have command and control authority over all incidents the Department responds to and operates at.

- Cosgriff Hose operates a 1989 American LaFrance 1500 GPM pumper as "4-1500"
- Lady Warren #5 operates a 2005 KME 1500 GPM pumper as "4-1501"
- The department operates a 23 foot fireboat on the Hudson River as "4-Marine", as well as a 16 foot shore boat which is kept on a trailer
